Good morning! :hi:

You can choose from two report versions about the early morning happenings:

Version A

Nothing special happenened, but the morning has been very beautiful with the sun goldening the scenery. :D
Image

Version B

4:04 Sulvi called very far away.
4:22 Sulvi called from some place closer than earlier.
4:24 Sulvi called again.
4:25 Three swans flew at a very low height from left to right behind the background trees.
4:41 Sulvi called again normally. This time more far away.
4:44 Sulvi called.
4:48 Two pigeons flew over the nest.

Since that I have not heard any eagle voices and it is now 5:55.

Crissy, Liz and Summi, thanks for your thanks. :D

I came back to the computer for some time a while ago. There are very few voices of any birds right now. Insect voices more than wanted.

10:11 Sulvi called, much closer to the nest than in the morning. She was insisting to get food, but not yet furious.
10:20 Sulvi called again.

This day is quite warm in Estonia, already now about 20 degrees. That means surely, that birds are not flying today just for fun.

edit: more observations:

10:23 Sulvi called.
10:30 - 10:34 Sulvi called many times.
10:38 Sulvi had a more demanding voice and she was either closer to the nest tree or her beak was more towards the microphone.
10:40 Sulvi called.
10:41 Sulvi called and her voice was stronger.
10:51 Sulvi called, more far away than previously.
10:52 Sulvi called with a bit more demanding voice.
10:53 Sulvi’s voice was squeezing. Perhaps she saw a parent, but did not get food?
10:54 The normal calling went on.
10:59 Sulvi probably got food and is keeping it? Loud whining!

Sulvi was silenced ... with a human method.

But, Konrad, where are the aeroplanes from this morning :shake: ...
How about the tits. Well, I'm just thinking, not demanding  .

Suvi flew to the right back but then turned to the left to behind the tall trees.

Nice to see how Suvi landed

Timea and Liz, thank you.
Great to see how Suvi still comes on the nest with the feeding urge. After Sulvi left the nest, she hasn't dropped the fish on the branches!

 Thanks Konrad, Timea, Liz01 and others for very nice reports and pictures :2thumbsup:
It's good to see Suvi but difficult to understand what she's "thinking". It's quite obvious that Sulvi wasn't even close to the nest tree both times when Suvi came there with fish; and that Sulvi couldn't possibly see her going there and hence couldn't even get the idea of trying to follow her. But it's good to know that Sulvi has been calling from here and there. Hopefully Sulev has continued the good work and has provided food for the girl! I've been trying to listen as much as possible, but it's difficult for me to distinguish Sulvi's faraway calls, so I'm really dependent on other people's efforts to keep tracking our little lady. 8-)

Hi Rebelde, Suvi and Sulev are training Sulvi, not only when she sees things but also to listen to wing beats, landings, eating sounds, all sorts of sounds that are vital when you are a young bird, dependant on your parents and which she will need when leaving the parents. "One of these days Sulvi will follow Suvi onto the nest branches" :-))

:hi: Timea, I hope you're right! I've understood that eagles' hearing isn't as remarkable as their vision, so yes, it certainly needs training among other things, but I'm not sure if that's what Suvi intended to do. :puzzled: I miss Sulvi and would love to see her, or at least hear her well and regularly.. Oh, now (18.56) I heard her calling quite far away. :D

P.S. I remember that while still in the nest Sulvi reacted to parents' wingbeats and landings when they were "in the neighbourhood". She then quickly turned into their direction and started screaming.
Ah, she's calling now... (19.05-)

19.15 Sulvi's squealing, then silence; maybe she got the food for herself and is self-feeding right now

Timea  (Yes, it also sounded like they, or someone, flew past! How nice! Sulev or Suvi flying with food and Sulvi flying behind.) A video with enhanced sound, anyone?

19.23:

Again a heavy bang; same sound as about 15 minutes ago. Fireworks? Thunder?

19.27:
P.S. A thunderstorm is starting I think. Again loud bangs, closer this time.
