August 02

The whole morning the sound of one or more Caspian Terns. Sometimes close but always out of sight. Could be migrating birds.

http://www.looduskalender.ee/n/en/node/2640#cam says that last year a jackal walked past the camera.
I can't remember any Jackal here.

Water level is rising faster! Cam may get wet feet . . . :whistling:

What I saw during the last days:
Ducks, may be Common Teal (Anas crecca)
Dunlin (Calidris alpina)
Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus)
Curlew (only once) (Numenius arquata)
Common Snipe (only once) (Gallinago gallinago)
Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa)
Greenshank (Tringa nebularia)
Redshank (Tringa totanus)
Starling (Sturnus vulgaris)
Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix)
Gulls (not identified)
And other not identified waders . . . :book:
