Re: Estonian white-tailed sea eagle nest camera 2018
two days ago i wrote to the Estonian Mr B who is actually Mr U, our Techno-Urmas.
he has not replied my mail. he is a very busy man.
it may be that the camera is left as it is now. it is so late in the season anyway. i have heard from Eagle-Urmas that they are planning a repair trip to the nest in late September - beginning of October. then also the stream will probably begin again.
patience...

Would be nice if Suvi and Sulev would stay in this nest.

Good morning everyone
Sova, ame - thanks for the updates on the camera situation. So the stream is off for now...those things happen and that's just how it is, but i would lie if i said i wasn't sad about it. Let's wait and see...maybe it's really the time to say goodbye?

Think it is not so much hopeless!
We will visit nest site later in Sept-Oct, but probably transmission will be restored in few days - in busy season we forgot to pay for internet transmission of July... By now it is paid, but restoring of service may take couple of days by internet provider. I'm sorry for this mistake!

Thank you for reminders. I was following the life in the nest from before the first egg. Hope to see Sulvi someday.

Crissy. Beautiful pictures of our Sulvi. Many Thanks.

Crissy .... very nice made collage!
I miss the whole * family *. Suvi (your beautiful eyes). Sulev (his feeding).
The marriage crises (fishdelivery)
And I miss the little Sulvi (her lips when the Suvi came to the nest).

Bärbelbär, Rita, Sova and everyone else, who is still visiting the forum :)
Sova - I miss them too, an awful lot. I remember this happy song Sulvi used to sing to her mother, sweet twittering. And also how Suvi and Sulev were so clumsy on decorating their home, they had some brilliant moments there, it was so funny. I even found one picture:
Suvi is clearly not happy
I wonder why it has taken so long for the stream to be back again, or maybe there is a bigger problem than delayed bank transfer
(no hard feelings, Urmas )

Hello, everyone!
Maybe this is a good moment to remind the fundraising.
Many many thanks to all who already contributed!
We already collected 3731 € !
This fundraising is a perfect opportunity for all of us to express our gratitude to Kotkaklubi and to give them a little help!
https://www.leetchi.com/c/support-these-wonderful-birds
In order to support Kotkaklubi, we had the idea to write – and illustrate – a popular, yet factual book about the life of black stork Karl. We have put a lot of love, time and energy into this book. A test-reader said: “It is a well-written story full of adventure, interesting facts and lovely illustrations.”
We really hope you will enjoy it too!
Anyone who donates 10 € or more will be rewarded with a free copy of this digital book.
It contains 129 double pages (spreads) and many beautiful illustrations from Orinpix (Kaori).
Here is a little preview:
For some members, it is easier to do a normal bank transfer directly to Kotkaklubi:

(If you contribute this way, please send me a PM with your email address to receive the book.)
