One osprey in the dead tree and one is calling from the camstand. It sounds as if another one is "answering", but can´t say whether it is the one from the dead tree or not

a robin visit the nest.

The robin is singing his typical song very nice. The often used ticking note can also be heard very well.

Both the male and female sing during the winter, when they hold separate territories, the song then sounding more plaintive than the summer version.

Here is a description of the song in German language (sorry, I can't translate this, it's too onomatopoetic):

["Gesang silberhell, beginnt mit hohen Tönen, stürzt sich in blitzschnelle Serie ungestüm plaudernder Laute, mäßigt sich kurz und tänzelt mit süß perlendem Triller weiter."]

So releaved to see Jaak got rid of his Darvic ring and the way he grabbed the fish brought in by Ivo(ED) it looks like his toes didn't ssuffer much from being stuck together such a long time. Great news.

The ring was seen to be slipped down on 18. August and today, 26. August, we saw him without the ring.
