A look back at this wonderful nesting season with Romeo, Juliet, Sky and Spirit. Sky was last seen at the nest early in the morning on Sunday, April 8, 2018. For the next few days, Spirit continued to spend considerable time at the nest. It was bittersweet to see him there without Sky at his side. Shortly before Noon on Thursday, April 12th, Spirit left the nest and did not return. It appears they have both left for their next adventure. We wish them both the best. Farewell Sky and Spirit. "

Thank you for sharing, Solo!
It's a bit strange for me, a the beginning of a season from Bald eagles many members are so interested, then the interest will be more and more less during the breeding season and at the end from the season nobody read or post more.

Birdfriend, yes it is true (and maybe natural). When they are little chicks on nest, they are very adorable and we have fear, if all will be O.K. - maybe it is the reason. But all stage their development is very interesting and life in each nest is very individual. Or ??? What do you think? And you others?Birdfriend wrote: ↑April 13th, 2018, 10:23 pm... That's absolutely right and also my thinking, Solo. In this forum it gives only few topics where many members are active. Many topics here will not noted, that's really pity...it is similar how in our real life. Many problems at our earth will ignored...and wrong things will continue in the same style.
