4. September

With data from 3. September Estonian osprey Kalle has arrived at his already well known pit stop place on his way South .... Karzhyns´ka Gulf at the Black Sea.
How many days will he stay there before he continues his journey?

Estonian osprey Markus also made a change in his route and is in Latvia now. No visit to Saaremaa :D
He preferred to to have an eye to the Estonain/Latvian shoreline

8th September 2018:

Data from 5.9.18

Osprey Elena has crossed the Mediterranean and is in Libya already. That's why we did not have any data from her since
1.9.18 - she was out of GSM coverage:

With data from 8. September we can see that Belarusian osprey Vova is in Bulgaria - and his route shows us that he avoids crossing high mountain ranges

What is he going to do here .... next higher mountains ahead ...

:hi: Solo,

Yes, really happy that they are doing fine.

I find the comparison to the routes of previous years very interesting. Kalle always makes a longer stop-over near the Krim and Markus likes the area in southern Ukraine where he stations now.

KALLE -very concentrated

:hi:
I just saw, that until now nobody has posted the news, so i will try to inform you.
(Not as good as Solo does, but nevertheless better than nothing :D )

Kalle has left his resting hotel and already crosses the Mediterranean Sea
last data: 14.09. - 2902 km
Image

Markus followed his way to the south, made another small stop-over to refuel at the river and is now near the border to Moldova
last data: 15.09. - 1454 km
Image

Vova is still in the same area in Bulgaria, resting
last data: 15.09. - 2070 km

Elena's data shows her still in the deep south of Chad.
Maybe she enjoys there and stays or she moved further south and is now out of GPS-area ? :puzzled:
last data: 13.09. - 6229 km
