Hello, everyone!

Thanks for the updates!

Baska :hi: , very interesting pics and info about Lake Beyşehir!
We will soon know if Karula takes a break in that wonderful area.

KARULA
Last data : 12.10.2018
Distance : 3602 km (+ 271 km in 1 day), travelling
temp: 18°
Precipitation: 0 mm
Humidity: 50%
Wind 100 m - NE (04 km/h); 15:00 NE (13 km/h)

I hope that Karula will turn south-eastwards, otherwise, he will reach the Mediterranean coast somewhere in Antalya Province.
"Karula, please follow your dad's green line. The black one is also fine."
Apparently, some storks cross the Mediterranean via Cyprus. :slap:
"Autumn migration usually includes a variable passage of raptors including Egyptian Vulture, Lesser Spotted Eagles, good numbers of Honey Buzzards, Black Kite, Red-footed and Lesser Kestrels, and Black and White Storks. It continues into October, when winter visitors also start to arrive."

Here are some pictures of areas where Karula has recently flown.

Solo :hi: , thank you also for the pictures of Karls area. :2thumbsup:
Especially the last pic from 2015 looks promising. A nice area for storks. :D

I've tried to get nice pictures from GE, but they are not useful. One can not see more like in the birdmap in low height - like in one of your pictures.

Have a nice evening all!

 Good evening all,
and thank you for all updates and nice pictures etc. !

Karl. Karl has made a very long and very fine and great flight, and was the other one of Karula Forest storks who entered at last his winteringarea. Now he can rest all winter and collect strength for the next spring.
Maru. Maru still enjoys her favoriteplace... and it looks like that she has had the SE-Wind for a long time.
Päike. I still waite....
Karula. Karula has progressed forwards very fine, and I hope he finds his father's routepath (or "Uncle"-Eedi's).

Hi, Is the manufacturer and type of the transitter known? I would like to read the specs to understand how it works.
Did you find something interesting from the transmitters instructions?
For example, if the transmitter had dropped somewhere and then found, what would it say (e.g.in Bird Map) ?

Good morning Solo, Anne, Hellem, Michi, Sova, Liz, Treia and all the others. :hi:
Thank you so much for all the reports and nice pictures of KARL, KARULA and MARU !
Also for the hints of Karula's flight path ! :2thumbsup:

Karula has already flown another piece in addition to a small barrier lake named Hatunsaray Goleti near Çatören !

update KARULA
last data : 13.10.2018
distance : 3669 km (+ 67 km )
distance : 3720 km (+ 51 km )
So he has done together 118 km yesterday

Image
Anne, I think Karula will keep to his left side because direction south are mountains, which he might like to avoid.
He will follow the route of his father
