edit: and much later the voice of the eaglet was heard, at least at 10:41.
Baby was there by 10:43 or longer.

For me it's the baby and it reminds me the Norwegian TV star - SOLO 2017. Who was staying with parents till December.

Now I'm very sorry we lost such a long period without sound; I'm sure he visited many times.
There were some visits of parents when we saw them looking downstairs like they did today.

I think of it all day too. How many events we didn't understand and didn't notice that there was no sound.

10:37:10 Raimis flew on the left.

he (the adult eagle) came from the left, failed to land on a thin treetop and flew back

10:46 Raimis brought a stick.

he jumped to the left branch.

Here what occurred at 10:37.
https://forums.dabasdati.lv/viewtopic.p ... 3b#p200582

It is only possible to guess the rest on sounds. Only at 10:33 it was visible an eaglet under a nest.
so i guess Raimis came from the left side, and tried to break off a twig there in the thin treetop.

10:52 - 10:53 crow arrived and left.

Same time eagle flew by to the right tree, and was sitting on a branch under the bulb

10:56 another eagle flew from left to our top tree.

It was a complicated scene... Didn't see it mentioned before.

Abigyl, I saw the episode, too. It was exciting when several
big birds in the air at the same time! Quite a traffic mess there :D .

... Does anybody know if he helped with the sticks somehow?
...
Janis didn't touch the nest sticks at all. he only worked under the nest. there are videos now of the whole repair process, both long and short clips.
you will find the reports starting from here:

in the afternoon there were also (at least) two little visitors. i made close-up clips of them.
14:19 a crested tit (Lophophanes cristatus) visited.

15:24 a treecreeper (Certhia familiaris) visted.

Oct 27

good morning!
the weather is windy and cloudy today. the air is very humid, there's mist in the air, maybe even drizzle. quite different than yesterday when it was a lovely sunshine.

8:45 now i can see that it is raining big drops.
btw: yesterday at this time some birds flew over making very strange (funny) calls. it was like they could not sing properly. they flew by out of sight.
swans? geese?? :help:

thank you zhu39 for the clarification of the DR to SW.
also i was puzzled about it.
