He was on the way 30 days - Sept. 27 - Oct. 26 , distance 3754 km

2017 - his autumn migration lasted from Oct 7th till Dec 16th - 71 days and 4775 km
2016 - it lasted only 27 days and 3580 km - from Oct 3 till Oct 29

he did it again

and he was so fast, that observers didn‘t catch him at all in spain. I‘m so happy he arrived save in his winter area.

probably we will not have to wait for so long to see him again, the observers will follow him...



but on october 15, a LSE was seen in spain. no further information.

can I simply say THANK YOU ALL for your contributions to the forum in this lasting documentation of Tõnn and family?

thank you for the link to ebird. Tönn will not appear there. they only list LSE + hybrid + indian GSE. sova (correct me if I’m wrong) gave us the moovebank. but I’m not happy there. it is mainly based on studies and they are often not of the current period. observation: I have to try it out. so I prefer „public viewing“. real fanatics like us and local groups with own internet sites informing the newspapers. because there I can catch them
