Thank you and your "crew" for finding this outmogga wrote: ↑September 21st, 2018, 9:44 pm It is not a Tree Pipit, it is not a Linnet, it is not a kind of Sparrow (all suggestions me and another bird amateur made).
It is a Yellowhammer! Difficult to identify at this time of year, as the ornithologist who found out this, consoled me.
The yellow can hardly be seen now. The bird is chirping in the video sometimes, for example from 11:40 to 12:05

For me it is working - cam time 10:10
I suppose we have come to the time where there will be more and more problems with charging the batteries, sunshine is no longer intense and long enough and so sometimes the cam will only have enough power for few hours a day.
Edit:
Cam was running still in evening and darkness, so it was most likely just a short outage in the morning, for which reason ever

Cam is working at the moment, there is a fresh wind.
I also wanted to thank everyone for the marvellous pictures and videos . I hope our birds all have a save trip and I am curious what will happen the next season. Until it starts, I will think of my wonderful birds and wish them a good time.
And I hope to see you all again next season .

28. September
11:40
Nosy corvids were around the nest tree today, some stayed in the dead tree and other trees and some of them wanted to have a closer look at the nest
At 11:46 (short before they left) one of the corvids was on the cam support and pecked so hard on it, that I already feared it would demolish the cam seriously

I also want to thank everyone for their posts, observations, pictures and videos, from this season!!
Irma and Ivo are the best in my humble opinion!
I will miss them so much during the winter months, but I know that I can come to the forum and read and see and watch them.
Plus, I get to see the great posts from all the people that love them too! Even though most of us have never met in person, we share a great bond of friendship!
Thank you!

Hi, Cessie
You are absolutely right. I do feel that we are like a great family and our love for Irma and Ivo or for any other birds we share builds the bond of friendship between us.

Goose bumps @aare ... beautiful. =)
It is also always very special when the youngsters become fledged and leave their nests. With the Ospreys especially because they also have a long never experienced journey ahead of them.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that we will see our Dream - Team Irma Ivo again... and that their little ones are well, who will stay this year in their winter domicile.
Jaak ...who was so special between his sisters and wears only one ring. I can still feel the worries about his foot and his chances of survival. =)
And I hope that by a lucky coincidence we might hear from Daisy or Daimar. They could return for the first time.
I look at the migration card every day, but our Ospreys are not driven by our impatience.
Maybe in five weeks, we'll know more.

Good day, I would like to know if and when the cameras are going to be on and working and when the 2019 forum will be opened.
I really am looking forward to a new season.
Spring has come and I can't wait!
Thank you very much in advance

Finally a contribution.
This makes waiting much easier.
It's gonna start soon. End of March, beginning of April ... I expect the next weekend.
Our Ospreys are on their way.
Markus is back in the dungeon but I have looked ... the last years it was like this. He starts at the beginning of March and disappears invisibly until about the end of March. But then he pulls through.
Since today Elena can be seen again on the migration map. That made me very happy! And Vova is also on tour.
If they are hopefully well, Irma and Ivo are also on their way. Irma will take a detour again.
And this year Daisy and Daimar could also come back for the first time. =)
Not in this nest but maybe they will be seen by chance.
I am also very excited about the nest of Mati...there were so many beautiful interested Ospreys last year.
And will there be a happy ending for Tija and Teo?

Hello to all osprey lovers!
I have no definite date when osprey cams will start for this season, it depends when our Eagle Men (and -Women ) from Kotkaklubi (Estonian Eagle Club) will have time to go to the nest sites and get the cams ready for transmission. Hopefully without technical obstacles waiting for them there ...
So we have to wait from day to day and stay patient (pfffhhhttt - that bad word!)
Maybe in the beginning of April things will become serious here .....
When the cams are running new topics will be opened.
See you all there

Solo, good morning!
Yes, I had a joyful party yesterday when I saw that now all four Ospreys are on the radar again. ❤
And they are in a hurry.
I think Markus is also much further away than yesterday's stand.
May they come home healthy and bring Irma and Ivo and all our Ospreys with them!
