Big Bear
No sings of Shadow & Jackie since a few days. I think, that Shadow is to young.
6:29 Jackie was here Without Shadow, the same as few days ago.
She did not do anything. She only stands in the nest and looked around.
6:42 She flies off and is calling

Looks like so. Her leg gets a bit more worse every year, but it seems she managed it so good as she can. She is still able to hunt.Liz01 wrote: ↑January 8th, 2019, 4:22 pm 9:20 BC Mom is calling softly For me it looks like, she is laying the egg right now https://up.picr.de/34794558ld.jpg

Birdfriend. Thanks for the picture and Reporting So no egg till now!
For me also, her leg looks worse than before. But I think it does not hurt her. She just can not make things as easy as with two healty claws.
The adoption officially announced: "UME-2 has a new designation! RRP renamed him to DM-2 "

TUESDAY JANUARY 8th
06:29 (NT) After a long absence, Mom jumped into the dark nest. She went to the center of the bowl, still full of ice after the heavy snow, and was lying there for a while.
06:42 She left.

Berry College
We have an Egg #2 It was laid on January 11!
Berry College Eagles FB:
Congratulations to our eagle parents! We have a second egg! It arrived at 6:27pm. It is difficult to see in the screenshot, due to the fact that our female eagle is sticking close to the eggs, but you can just make it out next to the first one!
