 Hello everbody, and thanks again for all updates and nice pictures etc.

Karl's Family :

KARL (ring number 715R, was seen for the last time at the nest on 14.08.2018 and started his migration to south 16.08.2018.) No new data since 15.11.2018, but probably he is in South Sudan, somewhere in his second wintering area. So, like Solo said, we have to be patient while waiting for the next update.

KATI (not ringed) was seen for the last time at the nest on 01.08.2018, now she is somewhere… http://birdmap.5dvision.ee/index.php?lang=en

MARU ( ring number 7163, started her migration just before noon 4. August, 2018. age 78 days). Now she is near the Nile in Egypt since 01.11.2018 (= 72 days),
and yes, like Sova says, Maru seems to be hopeless with her power poles and waste waters.

PÄIKE (ring number 7161). Our little Sun was seen on the nest last at 14.08.2018 and began her migration on 18.08.2018, 90 days old. No new data since 07.10.2018 when she was somewhere near Peloponnese > Sapientz, Mapiva, and Schiza (and Àkra Gáidaros) in Greece.

KARULA (ring number 7162, left the nest and started his first migration on 16.08.2018, 88 days old.). Now Karula is in the Jordan River valley near Tall al Manţaḩ since 09.12.2018 (= 33 days), says Annes summary.. and I think that he loves very much that Jordan River valley and fish pools and ponds there nearby.

It's winter now, but soon comes the spring, and we'll be able to follow their move back to Europe... and Karula Forest. :loveshower:

:hi: Sova - what kind of reservoirs these are? probably filling up water for plant, in this area we see very much of them and "K. visited one of them formerly" (more south)
