:hi: Solo, thanks very much :innocent:

It's quite interesting to watch their behaviour in the early morning.

My impression from this morning:
After the peaceful day yesterday and beeing stuffed up without being bonked, the E13 gained strength, courage and developed enterprise and play instinct. So E13 dared (harmless) pecking to E12, for example when E12 hit him with its wing when was wingersizing. Of course E12 pecked back (and not as gentle as E13) and E13 went submissive - but it was brave of E13 and important to try it.

So, E13 sure was the one who started the bonking, but there was a reason. In contrast, E12 starts the bonking often without any reason, only when for example E13 is up first and E12 wants to be (or stay) "the big or taller one". And when E13 is wingersizing and touches E12, E12 always bonkes E13.

Later, when E13 started wingersizing again, E12 only showed E13 the beak and E13 stopped wingersizing and layed down. A short while later E13 bravely "payed back", pecked E12 quickly and yet faster turned around getting out of reach
That was hilarious.

This morning both did their PS while standing only on their feet and pooping perfectly over the high rails.

After both did very nice wingersizing and preening, laying down again and E12 began to move grasses, E13 began to move nestover fishbones. E13 played very nice with that fishbone, carried it from one side to the other, E12 was watching. Then E13 picked up a "bigger" nestover and moved it back and forth, carried it in its beak, E12 got interest in it too and they both played with it.

Interesting for me - and this i observed also in other nests or previous seasons in this one - is, that (to me it seems so) the one who gets always food and doesn't get bonked, is mostly the lazier one or starts later discovering things and the one who is behind getting food and gets bonked, is faster in developing interests to discover things, playing and for example also starts first watching intensly over the rails.

E12 nicely wingersizing

Mom (on attic), breakfast can be served now

E13 - perfectly PS over the rails, standing only on its feet

Eating - at last. It's going nicely, both of babies get and their crops look to be very full. I didn't see if there were bonking moments at the beginning of this meal time.

- Your reports again - soooo :D .

...and then before logging out I see that the other Parent came with a fish again! A Parent, I think Harriet, begins to eat the new fish from its head. That's good for her. The kids can only lie, they are too thick, but they also are watching HOW Mom eats fish head. This is to learn, they think.

Yeah, Sylvika, a very nice feeding ended up with two really big crops

Yes, there was bonking of E12 in the beginning, E13 had to stay away then and wait for its turn, but as soon as E12 had swallowed the first huge chunks, E13 snatched a few bites quickly from behind, then was allowed to join in the feeding and also got well fed from M.
E13 now is also able to swallow huge chunks.

That was a big "hill of meat" that M has brought and it was gone quickly in 14 min.

in the beginning, when E12 was trying to get down a huge piece of meat, M started to feed also E13, E12 spit its piece out (was too big). E12 saw M wanted to give E13 a bite, headed over and bonked E13 down and took that piece of meat out of M's beak
Image

E12 got a few really large pieces and swallowed them down easily

Yeah, Birdfriend :hi: ,

It looked like E13 wanted to eat all he didn't get in the previous days :D

shortly after H joined M on the attic
