there's not enough power in the battery which runs the camera system.
no sun => no light on the solar panels => no energy in the battery. :faint:

we shall have to wait for sunny days and/or new batteries. eagle men know the situation. the battery change depends on their other work duties.

welcome to the forum, Ilona!
:gathering:

while we have been waiting for the camera to wake up from hibernation we have had problems with the Potplayer which we have used for recording live Youtube stream. however, also a solution to this problem has been found. :D
it's described in the link below:

the stream has been on for at least 4 hours.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DdGcPZ7kNo

aha, i see that others have noticed this much earlier than i. :whistling:
it's snowing wet snow.
oops! now it stopped! at 16:29:58. i saw it only for 5 min alive. :faint:
the stream started at 12:30. the weather looked sunny then but later in the afternoon it became cloudy and started snowing. it snowed at about 13:46 - 14:11, 14:39 - 53, 15:00 - 03. at 16:02 - 16:12 the snow turned into slush which covered the camera.

:hi: i keep wanting to see the eagles but here's what i tell myself: last year the cam was only installed on jan 21st and the first recorded sighting of an eagle not until feb. 5th - there's still plenty of time

the camera is streaming but it's still dark. :headroll:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8UPvMu587g

carlights? :puzzled:
the lights are staying in one place but getting irregularly dimmer and brighter.
Image

i don't think it was a car. the lights were there already at 4:32, together with the Moon. :D
Image

the lights are exactly above the horizon and far.
