the stream seems to be struggling. it's running on a new address again:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLClKR71ZLo

it's probably best to check the channel of Urmas Lett if the camera is on or not:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXUMGZ ... AVJgcJeCkg
i'll be away most of the day.

It looks like someone has been to the nest, footprints(?) at the far right branch.

i made a few maps of the location of our camera with the aid of the picture of the Moon which i took this morning at 4:36.
first i needed the approximate coordinates of the nest. for this i looked up the coordinates of the bird watching tower in Saunja.
Image

then i made the skymap above Sunja at this moment. the Moon was in the western sky as we saw in the morning. already beforehand we know that the camera is looking towards the East: we have seen wonderful sunsets.
Image

here's the horizon view of the sky at 4:36 local time (2:36 UTC).
Image

and this is the camera view at 4:36. nice Moon in the sky there.
it seems that our camera is looking almost exactly to the west.
Image

with a little bit of luck we may be able to see the lunar eclipse on early Monday morning, if the camera works and the sky is clear.

good morning!
i see from time to time a blurred dot in the sky where the Moon should be...
i think it is the Moon. it's covered by clouds every now and then. it is coming out of the shadow. :D

i woke up many times in the night to see 'my' Moon. before the eclipse began clouds covered the Moon.
now the clouds are moving away.

i think you saw two airplanes. shooting stars or meteorites cannot be seen in daylight. (if it had been a daylight asteroid we would not be discussing it now...)
besides meteorites and such things produce only about a second-long flashes. i think these must have been military aircraft. civil airplanes do not fly in formations.
the exhaustion gases (which are mostly water vapour) freeze in the air into tiny snow chrystals and they refleft sunlight. those gaseous tails of the aircraft were visible.

i made a close-up clip of this. what is really interesting to me is what animal or bird called at the same time near the nest. :help:
near the end there was also a black woodpecker calling.
