OK Solo .... that was short version .... sorry
I meant, Are the swans in this lake safe from other animals or even humans?
Since they are out of the Makovstation, are they still listening to the Makovstation or are they on their own?

:hi: to all

No idea how friendly is that area, but a month ago one of the female tufted ducks disappeared from Makov station and nobody knows what happened to her. Also any bird of prey or herons are dangerous for B&B and their future kids. Hope they won't be allowed to appear in the area of the new B&B place but I have no idea which way it will be done. A fence? Nets above the nest?.. Many questions and no answers yet.

:rotf: It is not the same video but the fresh one, I posted it about 10 minutes later after it appeared in Makov facebook. B&B are swimming in the pond and the goose is watching them. The links are different.

Yesterday Vejirka was pecking something on the field, either she just ate grass or got earthworms. She also helped storks to repair the nest.

Since recent times Miki and Hubert attack Matys and Matylda, beat them and take food away from them!

The coots are not seen in the pond today. Either they are released or are hiding somethere.

The coots returned a week ago themselves but apart from Hubert all the ducks are hidden from martens in the aviaries and no info about B&B family.

Thanx, I saw that video. Nice to see them again. But there is no net above that area, is it safe enough?

Hi everyone

This looks like the right place to post this. Moderators please move this if I put it in the wrong area or it is not allowed.

I have a favor to ask of everyone. These are the White Storks who were featured in the sweet video about how the female's wing was injured when someone shot her so this lovely man has been caring for her for years. Her mate returns every year and they have raised many chicks. They want to install a webcam so that everyone can watch the nest. All one has to do is click the photo and click on the LIKE button which written in Croatian but should not be difficult to find. Just click once and you will have voted for them. So far, they are in 1st place but there aren't many people in their forum so they are asking us all to share to get more votes. All votes will sure be appreciated. This would be a wonderful cam to watch. Just click the photo and another photo will pop up with the voting and share buttons for other social media.

The Stork's names are Malena i Klepetan and Klepetan is the male. He just returned from migration, 2 days ago! :loveshower:

So here is the page plus a video of them and the kind man who cares for them all. Let's all vote and get them their camera for streaming so we can watch the babies hatch and grow. :loveshower:

This will show you a lot of buttons and you want to click the one right below where it says Glasaj

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Hi asteria!

Good to see you! I am not sure how many chicks these Storks had last year but I know they have quite a few either last year or the year before. The kind gentleman takes care of the chicks, too, and I have seen video of him with her.
