yesterday was a very tiring day with the rain and the intruder. rain is always hard on eagles. they become tired. they seem to tolerate the rain and lie still but they cannot rest as long as it rains. after the rain they can relax. then they become sleepy.

good night!

good morning!

6:07 Milda woke up and got up... she has three eggs!
:loveshower:
let's hope that years are not brothers. maybe next summer it will rain all summer and there will be a flood of fish. :slap:
in a good year there is enough fish here for a family of three eaglets. Durbe and Robert raised three in 2014, the year before Durbertina.

 Milda wanted to lay in secrecy this time.
Sonchik, do you have video of 5:29?

after she flew off Milda flew to the observation tree. she is there now.
Image

... or did she just fly away? yes, she took off at 6:59:34. her white tail flashed when she took off.
Image

she flew to the left over the swan pond and in the direction of the Fish Market. she must be hungry after what she did last night.

i have recording up to 21:36 yesterday evening. i haven't listened through it. mostly there are dogs barking and some traffic noise in the parts that i have listened.

i don't believe it is possible to find her laying in darkness. she didn't make much any voices when she laid the second egg. during the first she sighed a few times a little louder. the first egg is always the hardest to lay. the next come out much easier.

18:26 yesterday evening Milda rolled the two eggs. ... or could there be more? :puzzled:
i'll see if i can find out something...

after that she lay down and started to sleep.
she didn't change position after that. darkness came at about 19:30 and she was still lying the same way.

I in the yesterday's video (18:26) left only the moments when it changed position of the head after 18:26. The body was not movably.

yes Sonchik, i think that if she had laid the egg yesterday evening we would have noticed it.

any way, i went back in time to 17:37 yesterday evening when Milda rolled the eggs. then there clearly were no more than two eggs.

Raimis counted them, too: "one, two."
