I think it's nice to know who each bird is, how she looks,
especially this Mare when her updates are so awaited.
It's so sad, that so many BlackStorks (like this Bille) dies at a young age.

Btw. 2018: On 29th May we got wonderful news! At two years age Mare reached her homeland - and she becomes the first young bird with transmitter that came back to Latvia from migration

Today on April 1 we see that Mare is finally migrating from her wintering place in Ethiopia to Europe! Blue line is her newst movement. Red line is her last years migration ways. Will she come to Latvia? We will keep you updated in our Facebook page.
