POLAND PUSZCZA NOTECKA

I think that last year, the couple could leave the nest because of the neighborhood of the owls living in the tree hollow on the left.
I saw the owls a few days ago, too.

I have to be more careful when I write. I think it gets harder to understand, because our topics get more demanding.

Arrival time! :-) It's probably a male. It is uncertain whether it will take a nest, because according to our knowledge, birds also have a choice of a second nest a few km behind the river, and the female has not arrived yet, and she chooses ... :-)

That's wonderful! :loveshower: (And now it's enough. :innocent: )

But since today I miss the sound from the nest. It's gone!
No time stamp, no sound. Then the pleasure goes also.

Nevertheless two pics from the rewound stream.

From about 17:45 (estimated)

From about 18:00

Today in the office I saw two matings, when I had a short look to the cam.

Thank you all for the pictures, the nice video from FB BocianiMy and your reports!

So females do not „sing“ when alone on the nest? Is this a characteristic of sex?

that is opinion of Dr. Maris Strazds (BS expert from Latvia)
we have experiences compliance with that (female sings not by arrival on nest)
(male Tóbiás and Karl are with ring, so it was 100% sure, who arrived)
