What a surprise! Thank you, mail.
And thanks for the pictures, joey and Liz

What a beauty!
Yes, it could be the same visitor as last year.

This is a picture from last year's early visitor.
The picture was made by Liz, April 5th, 2018.

And this one, also made by Liz on the same day, is showing the left side of his head.
Does it look the same?

Yes, I also think it could be the same BS. It is always hard to see.

A first comparison.

Oh dear, and our Karl is still so far away from home.

When Karl and Kati are together, he has no chance to take over the nest. And he is on the right... Show yourself coward

Many thanks for the video!

Yes, Liz, it must be a male stork, if you say that only males sing (that loud).

If Karl arrives very late this year, this beautiful young male could try to take over both: the nest and Kati.

Good evening everyone,
what news here! :shake:

At first I thought the arrived stork could be Kati. But when you're sure it is a male ...
Nothing is lost yet. If Karl will come soon he can defend his nest and win it back; he is strong. Right now, we don't know if the strange stork will stay at all.
I so hope Karl is here within the next 8 days.

Thank you very much all for your reports and the nice pictures of the stork. He's indeed beautiful!

Thanks a lot, Urmas Lett, for the video! It was a great joy to watch the stork. He made me smile again and again. Very impressive his efforts to rebuild the nest!
Although I'm in great worry about Karl I like this stork. :D

Here are some more pictures from the video.
17:51:14 The stork began immediately with intensive nest work.

Data about Karl stopped in 29th of March AM, in Syria. Nothing suspicious in last data, but no more data.
