Thanks for the new thread, Bea! Wonderful introduction, as always... 8-)

The ospreys with transmitters have made great progress on their way to Estonia. This is where they are now:
Vova: Warsaw, Poland
Elena: Istanbul, Turkey
Kalle: Palermo, Italy
Markus: Still Africa

I won't have so much time this year for Ivo and Irma. There will probably be hardly any videos of me, others will have to do that. I see that olgapyat, which I already know a little from youtube, has joined us, so there is already some reinforcement for videos. :D Of course I look in here whenever I can!

Video:

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Good morning :hi:

Lispet, Chimega --- great catch

I suppose these are the White-tailed Eagles that Urmas already mentionend, an adult and a juvenile.

Just want to let you know that I got a note from Urmas that he will probably go to the nest once more to clean the camera lense, before ospreys return.

When he was at the nest site today, he saw two White tailed Eagles flying, an adult and a juvenile, maybe they can be seen in cam view again in case they are still in the area.

Thanks, Bea!

I wish I could have gotten better video. The regular kalakotkas link that I've always used, wouldn't work. I had to click on the android link, instead.

Chimega :hi:

Your video is very okay - it is difficult to take a sharp video in these early-morning diffuse light conditions, so that what you did is the best one could do in such circumstances. And one can read the ring! :shake:

About the links - yes, it seems there were some technical changes and I noticed that after a browser update (Firefox) one had to adjust also some new things

Hi Bea,

Thanks for the nice words about the video.

I use Chrome, not FireFox but still, I had a white screen with links to the two mobile viewing sites and that's it. Since my computer isn't Mac  I choose the android.

Hi mail!

The second eagle was ON the nest at 08:54?

Unfortunately we still have no public video archive yet to check this back and I have no own recordings of that time  But when you are sure about the time I can ask Urmas Lett (Techno-Urmas) for help.

Hello everyone!

Very charming guest on the nest, indeed!
Bea, considering that there is no youtube link yet, is there any chance to wind back the stream yet?..

No, unfortunately not. All is still in a kind of beginner-modus and will be set up bit by bit ....

Hi Bea!
It was the same eagle, E301 on on left leg. Yes, I'm sure about the time but I'm a little handicapped due to little baby in my home ( :loveshower: ), so probably no pics from me this year :faint:
