Aaaahhhh - okay, I see. So it is not a big problem that we have no recording of 08:54, because the ring number on the other ankle could be identified clearly in Chimega´s video, as it was the same bird.

Congratulations to you and the new baby! Yepp, it is understandable that other things are important now and take your time

But you can switch over to a night active bird cam, in case your baby won´t let you sleep in the night  Just kidding  I remember these times very well

Hi every body
What a great video, against the background of an eagle, our nest seems to be a small plate. You begin to understand what a big bird is an eagle.

Thank you Chimega

Bea, after watching this video, I wondered if it was possible to ask the ornithologist, when they cleaned the camera lenses, to raise it a little higher so that the horizon and a sky could be seen. When the wind blows, much is not visible. And the eagle was not visible all ...
If it is not difficult ...

And this is my favorite photo last season. Irma is ready to attack, Ivo covered his nest with his wings. Wonderful moment.

17:12 I see an osprey on the dead tree. (At least, I think it's an osprey.)
17:14 another one on the same tree.

Hello @all!
I admire your patience. Nobody is whining about Ivo?

I'm getting nervous.
Every day I say to myself - "Today!

:hi: Hyacinth
In the last few minutes, I've only seen three pigeons.

I did see the 3rd one. I think you must be right, just pigeons. They did seem a bit small for ospreys and the color contrast wasn't great enough.

I know that... any shadow in the dead tree could be one of our Ospreys. :rotf:
Just keep looking. It could be any moment that Ivo returns to the nest.

It's E3 O1 ?

i got a reply from Urmas about this eagle.
E301 was ringed in 2015 June 1st, as one of two chicks in Emajõe-Suursoo
nature reserve by Gunnar Sein. It is about 40 km eastward of kalakotkas2
nest.
the eagle has stayed practically at home.
it's 5 calendar years old, almost mature. it's probably looking for a territory with serious intentions.

Somehow all threads mix this year.
Crazy at the moment. :headroll:

ame, for my knowledge - what does "stayed at home" mean?..
Unfortunately I can't estimate how big a territory of a sea eagle is. Or an eagle owl or an osprey.

And thank you very much for your feedback ame!

Yeah, there was another bird in the dead tree just now. Probably a dove again.
Not good for a longing heart. :rotf:

Owlie wrote: April 6th, 2019, 6:25 pm Wasn't there info of the Latvian Lady 718 that she was checked by ornithologists the very same summer (2017) at a nest nearby with two or three osprets - which could timewise and theoretically have been Ivo's offspring? :puzzled:

And when you have a look at the summary of main events 2017 you will find more links about her
