I can only do these videos. For other videos, with approach and departure, I have no time.
Liz, this is fully o.k. For me nothing is more interesting as to watch how Kaupo builds the nest. BTW, nothing else is happening in these days. :D So please continue with the interesting pictures and videos.
Thanks a lot for all reports! :2thumbsup:

Nest building has already made big progress!

BTW: I‘ve read in the last days (unfortunately don‘t know where, but surely in this topic) a statement from Maris Strazds (given by Liz) that this nest in the past was broken several times. And every time new builded.

Michi, great, that you like it. I do not like it that much. I like to do other videos. But in that case, it's not good to do it my way.
It was never documented with video material, how they build a nest. That's why Maris asked me, if I want to do it.

On Sunday the problem with the bad transfer will be solved. It takes so long because it takes place locally. Info from M. S.

Biker, I've also problems with the stream. There are often gaps in the transmission. Mostly at a time, when it's interesting on nest. :D

Thank you, Liz, for the info!

It’s not so for me! I find it tremendously fascinating watching this nest-building 8-)

i've read your tipps viewtopic.php?p=643747#p643747 thanks.

it works also with the tool, i' ve several times mentioned - livestreamer/streamlink - in a few minutes.
with the command -o and the quality you prefer, and the format you want, you can save unprotected you tube videos on your machine.
the morning clip you uploaded https://youtu.be/1gpSzRTzX2E
eg takes in mp4 or in mkv 309mb space.

April 13

Good Morning everyone :hi:

Thank you for your posts.

Thanks Biker!
Maris S. is not convinced by my solution. He is looking for other solutions.
I decided to save the nest building on an external hard drive. When the nest is done, I send him the hard drive. That's the simplest version for everyone. Maris S. is not the big computer freak.
I think he does not need the files right now. I'll ask him today if that's OK. It would be better for me too. Not every video needs to be available on yutube.

My PC is working normally again. I did it yesterday without reinstalling. :headroll:

6:33 there was a gap.. Kaupo is back in the nest :slap:

6:37 brings a branch
Maris is right, he flies from the wrong side. You can not see well what kind of branches he brings. He should ask Kaupo to come from the right side. :rotf:
