Thank you, Sunshine, for these pictures. Despite being alerted Ivo was very busy and did a fine job. So hurry up, Irma, everything is ready for your return :headroll:

Yeah, Ivo's been busy.

I don't think the WTE will conquer the nest.
For me it looks like a gimmick. And it's also not a potential partner to see or hear in the environment. No. I hope it stays a gimmick. The WTE is also at the beginning of sexual maturity. Did I understand that correctly? Then that would fit.

I only care about the brood of Ivo and hopefully Irma. WTE (and also owls) like to feed themselves there.
There are many videos and photos on the Internet and when I see it, I find it so cruel although I like WTE and owls (Bubo =)) so much.

I hope Irma will surprise us with her return this weekend. :shake:

It's starting to get green in the surroundings. From the beginning you could see all the fallen trees on the ground and now they are hardly visible. Spring!

Good morning
2Rik, thank you. Great to see that Ivo visited the nest to put a stick quickly down though still did not dare to stay longer.

08:40 And another branch. Ivo seems to be a little more relaxed than yesterday. Maybe the WTE is not in sight anymore.

Good Morning,
a wonderful day and Ivo just brought again a big stick into the nest, which now balances in the light wind. Ivo should clear up this chaos in the nest so Irma has some room to sit down when she comes back. :slap:

I just peeked in and didn´t have a good look at the feet, was this an unringed osprey?

Bea, I do not know, did not see the ring but automatically thought it's Ivo but in Helga's pic there are no rings indeed
