AHA.!!! at 23:52 'till 23:58 saw an owl at the doorway.
at last... two evenings in a row I've been keeping all four eyes on the cam.. Tonight paid off.
I can easy tonight.!!
edit: 00h28 and its there again.. 00h30 gone again.

The white substance can't be a snow, because owl's face was clear when she came.
I think it is sawdust from bottom of hollow.

Sawdust was there last year too, but owl's face was always clean
There may be snow inside the nest too, together with sawdust. I just can't imagine what else it could be.

Renno says that the webcam stream depends on the owls. If they start to breed then there will be a rush to get the stream going.

Maybe a little more news in a few minutes, but that is the answer, really.

that next week he will get computer from mr LK. which is necessary to make the steam (about 100m from the cam). We have quite bad connection there and unfortunately it is not possible to get better one...

I am confused over Klaras behavior. She act as she is teasing someone outside in the dark and escape to the nest and than away directly.
