i have some videos from this early morning. there are 3 more in the end of the previous page.

5:25 a robin stopped on the nest (somewhere; i could not see it) and sang two verses to Milda. Milda woke up when the robin flew away. "what? who? where?"

5:29 the baby peeked from under Milda's breast.

5:46 Milda talked.
5:48 a fake-raimis (=a jay) talked. Milda made a sleepy reply.
5:50 again.

5:53 Milda rolled the eggs.

6:29 the green sandpiper (Tringa ochropus) made his first visit to Milda.
the light was still rather poor. - can anyone confirm this identification, please? :help:

10:53 Milda got up. is there a pip hole in the other egg? :puzzled:
or is it only dirt on it or in front of it?

I meant it is not normal, that there is no food :D

Info: Baby chickens can survive without food or water for up to 72 hours after hatching - the yolk, which they absorb in the hours before hatch, provides all the nutrition they need.
