Yes, I too so think.

I have problems with record today. I write down everything from the screen. Videos will be later. I try to manage to write down everything.
This hatching?

20:19 a dog is barking fairly near, probably in the forest opening.
maybe even two dogs?
Milda looks rather confident, not really alarmed.

btw: the fish remains uneaten.

20:22 Milda got up, cool as a cucumber, not minding the dog barking. she began to eat and feed.
the bigger eats and the smaller is slightly disoriented, to say the least. it made a rolling around just by itself.
Image

Milda doesn't give a penny to the dog who is barking. she is feeding the biggest and the little one is sleeping.

20:29 feeding over. the older is on the left and the smaller on the right.

18:08 Raimis brought the fish.
Image

Milda squealed... i think the fish was still alive.
and she pecked Raimis in the face. she is a difficult lady to please. :slap:
Image

Raimis saw that it was best to leave.

sorry Sonchik... but i think i wrote about it:
viewtopic.php?p=645995#p645995
or did i misunderstand? do you mean "hatching" = "coming out of the egg"? :puzzled:

i think that Milda is sleeping although her head is up.
the planet Jupiter is in the sky a little to the right of the centre of the picture.

I mean my videos here.
If the answer "yes", then time is more exact.

good morning!
birds are making a lot of noise in the forest. Milda is sleepy but she can't sleep in this noise. 8-)
the Sun is rising on left. fortunately it remains outside of the picture.

yes, i saw your video, but i can't say if that was the hatching or not. in that video the second chick is certainly moving. it seems to lift or at least move the "lid" of the egg. i guess that the backside of the chick is still sitting in the bigger part of the egg shell. is that enough for hatching? i don't know...
- what time was that video?
edit (in the afternoon): i think i found it. it was 14:53, wasn't it? the lid on the 2nd egg lifted. at 14:53:40 Milda even seemed to lift the lid although parents are not supposed to help their chick in getting out of the egg.

i don't actually know what is the definition of 'hatching'... :puzzled:
we had this "problem" a few years ago when one chick was sitting tight in the other half of the egg. half of the chick was free of the egg shell, the other half was not. it took hours before the chick got rid of the rest of the shell.

22:23 last night there were sounds of egg rolling. the moonlight was not quite bright enough to see what was going on.

22:36 my recording failed. i got it restarted at 2:31. those 4 h are missing.

3:21 Milda fed the babies in moonlight.

4:07 the next feeding in moonlight.

6:01 Milda got up a little. then she made a move as if she tried to lift the empty egg shell out of the nest bowl. only the "lid" of the shell seemed to be missing. the rest 2/3 of the shell was in one piece.

6:35 Milda got up to feed herself and the babies.
two strong chicks were holding their heads up high. the was a dark line on the egg. a pip hole? just a second before this picture there was a long dark line across the egg but it was a straw which moved away.
Image

6:40 Raimis brought a tail of a large fish. the empty egg shell of chick #2 is on the right. it seems to get smaller piece by piece. another straw has moved in front of the 3rd egg.
