17:39:58 Kati came home! :loveshower:

The streaming is very bad.

17:40:01 Kati quickly goes to the eggs. She stoops under Karl II.
The eggs should not get wet when he leaves.

17:40:13 Karl II is in a hurry. He takes a shortcut and steps on Kati's head.

17:40:13 Karl II leaves. He needs food.

18:24 It's raining pretty hard.
Kati is lying on the nest as flat as a pancake, trying to keep the nest bowl and eggs dry.

How terrible! Maybe this eagle owl lives nearby and often comes at nights? :slap:

But the rain must be very welcome to the forest.

It's Karl all time. In the end you hear the owl. I know this call and but can not assign it.I wish I could remember in what context I already heard it.I think it was on Zile and Ozol's nest.

Hello (Tere ?) Summi

i'm already watching for a while :-)
We have here some black storks too but they are in danger to be chased away.
Think my observations with time are not really helpful because of the different time zone ? You are +1 hour, i think.
Posting the pictures/videos i still want to improve...

Have a good storktime ;)

Ah, and hello Liz

I've to look better, who is Kati and Karl...

Thanks for the pictures :)

I was very busy with the latvian Black Storks- now we have little storklets in the Hungarian nest. And I still like the nest of the Latvian White Tailed Eagles. This year we have some Lesser spotted eagle nests too .. :slap:

Soon we will see little ones here :loveshower:
