21:50 Iiris arrived, 21:51 Ivo left the nest. Iiris goes on the eggs.
Image

21:53 Suddenly Iiris left the nest, most likely something was bothering her. Then she lands on the dead tree, 21:54:46 she is back at the nest, looking around. Finally she settles down on her eggs again.

Later this afternoon I had a quick look into the nest, most probably it was short before Ivo arrived with the fish.
Heard Iiris demanding for food with a voice loud and clear, not to be ignored.
Think she gets the groove 8-)

four hooded crows (?) are chasing Iiris.
:hi: That chase happened later, at 20:50.. at 20:13 she was still peacefully sitting on the eggs.

At first she was chasing the crows for a good while. And then they started mobbing her on the dead tree :faint:
They just didn't let her eat in peace.

Those grey-hooded crows are great experts in mobbing, one has to admit!

Beautiful Iiris, still troubled by a couple of crows

Still at 21:20 she hadn't finished eating her fish which was brought at 20:35..

At 21:51 Iiris finally returned to the nest

Thank you Sappheira for finding the third egg again ! :))
visit: I do not see your photos, i.e. I am not clicking any foreign/strange link.
Hello Rita, oh, i didn't know - and i understand you because of avoiding strange links by myself, too ;-)
But streamable.com was a recommendation of Bea to upload videos (i didn't want to register at utube) and i tried - it works really good and without advertising.
i'm very suspicious of strange links, too but in this case it's ok for me. Hope you will accustom to it - at the moment i don't see a better possibility for me, sorry.

edit:
just flew a round and came back :-)

Ivo on the eggs, unringed osprey on the nest with headless fish, flying away, chasing another osprey (edit: or is it a crow??)...(edit:edit: it was a crow, same some minutes later, crow on the dead tree) so it was Iiris with that fish.

Iiris with a fine headless fish stopped by at the nest. Did Ivo bring the fish earlier, I did not see. Crows are active again.

Ivo on the eggs since 12:36 after bringing in a branch, must be a self catched fish by Iiris

Saw him just landing with the fishhead when the video started, so it was him.

...
:hi:
Some female ospreys are active fishers, Latvian Lauma 2014 for example used to fish often for her chicks. Also Irma brought fish to the nest, but mostly later in the summer time, when she had already offspring to feed.

Of course all females fish, they have to feed themselves, too, at least during the migration. But as I have understood, not all females fish for their offspring - even more seldom for their spouses
