I constantly try to see if the chick is making good progress.
But it's hard to evaluate. The zoomed images are not very sharp.

two in 1 day is usually (with less or more time difference), 3rd chick next day, but who know - we will see (first chick in PL Dab-nest is out from eggshell now)

what a wonderful day! So many holes at the first day of hatching I've never seen.
Thank you very much all for the detailed reports and pictures! So I haven't miss anything.

20:58 Karl II is up quite often and rolls the eggs very careful. Here are again the bigger holes in two eggs visible.


Then Karl II rolled the eggs, moved egg no. 1 over the others and egg no. 3 was visible with probably a smaller hole.
