A fiókák gyűrűzése

A fiókák gyűrűzésére május 20-án került sor, mert a sorozatos esőzések miatt ez kínálkozott az első olyan alkalomnak, amikor a kollégák felmehettek a távvezetékre.
A gyűrűzésen részt vettek a MAVIR munkatársai, blogunk olvasói, valamint partnereink – a Magyar Madártani és Természetvédelmi Egyesület, a Hermann Ottó Nonprofit Intézet és a Duna-Ipoly Nemzeti Park – képviselői.

Ahogyan az elmúlt évben, az idén is a MAVIR vezetékfelügyelőségének dolgozói engedték le a fiókákat egy speciális zsákban. A gyűrűzést Bagyura János kerecsensólyom védelmi szakember végezte, Vince Tibor, a Duna-Ipoly Nemzeti Park illetékes őrkerület vezetőjének a jelenlétében. A három hím fióka az Áron, Cseke és Félix nevet kapta.

A gyűrűzés végeztével, amikor Áron már a műfészekben volt és Cseke is mellé került, a két fióka összeverekedett. A tusa közben Cseke kiesett a fészekből és a földre esést követően elpusztult. Áron később Félixszel is küzdött, de végül megnyugodott, és elhárult a fiókák kiesésének veszélye.
Szakértőink szerint hasonló eset gyűrűzés közben még nem fordult elő, annak ellenére, hogy tudjuk, minden évben néhány fióka természetes úton is kiesik a fészekből. Ez más fajoknál is előfordul.

The second chick don't get up his legs, maybe they hurt ? :puzzled:
