- time to time is poor storklet first taken on the nest rim, also the naturally perished (I think that do females, males later throw chick over the nest rim - I read about that also on ggforum years ago)

Kati's behaviour: I saw only our Tóbiás to do that - quickly action and the "examination" with good end (and you Zile's one attempt)
I have one video with elimination bigger white storklet - I saw only the beginning (horror for my heart)

Also I asked two times when goosander Miki would be released but no answer.

Hi asteria, Mr Libor wrote yesterday that Miki is OK but closed to protect him from atacks of wild ducks. But perhaps you know it (for the time being he did not write when he will be released) .

Yes, I knew about it yesterday.

Last year there was a tape of elimination in Sokulka nest(both storklets were just thrown away, fell on the net prepared and did not get serious injures) but now that video is removed.

Čápi Libštát: the situation is now very bad. Two chicks left in the nest, one of them is nearly dead, the second one is alive but doesn't look well. They got some disease.

Many years ago, my first cams were the WS in The Netherlands and in Hungary. I thought it'll be so nice to watch the storks this way... I almost fainted when I saw them doing it to very big ones.
About 6-7 years ago, they "cleaned" nests from eggs again and again. It's hard to see, so now when I understand it's coming - I'm not watching at that time
