I asked myself that too. But I have not observed many ospreys, so I say nothing

Miina's desire to feed the hatching baby is so sweet and heartwarming.
Thank you everyone for the beautiful pics and reports.

No, does not mean she is too young. She may be a 1st time Mom, but not necessarily, other birds do this as well. I remember the male of a Peregrine Falcon, already a parent for several years. He did it every season. Sometimes even bringing the prey in the nestbowl, as if they could eat it themselves :-))

18:26 Marko is back and doing nestwork. He seems anxious. Miina is probably telling him to go fishing.
18:29 Marko flies off again.

Today both birds seem to be nervous and talk a lot. Is it possible that somebody might hatch today or tomorrow?

18:47 It's like Miina saw something and suddenly flies off, but she is back again shortly. I think I heard the chicks chatting inside the eggs, when Miina was gone.
When she comes back, someone - probably Marko - flies past.
Then Miina settles down again.

Yes, one chick is to be expected very soon. Exciting times!
