Liris has take a short fly up and @23:25 we have the first nice talking egg.Youtube have a temporale problem with upload .Can not share the video only give up the info over this.Good its dark now but the talking is to hear.Think tomorrow we have the first hatch.

Good morning on a beautiful sunny day.
Ivo is looking and listening to the eggs. Maybe during today one of the chicks smashes the eggshell.

12.04 eggs left alone for 1-2 minute after Ivo delievered a fish for Liris and both flew away. Egg showed vivid movement untill covered again

Ivo came to the nest with another stick. Iiris started to leave. Ivo looks at the eggs and saw the crack in one of the eggs and the little one is talking to him thru the little hole. Ivo is very excited. It is always a special moment for us to view the little chick coming out. Ivo is looking for Iiris.

Hello everyone!
I also had the feeling last night that a chick was communicating with Iiris.

Iiris shouted. And looked in the direction of the nest cave. She shouted again and again the disbelieving look into the nest pit. So it went away... .

Iiris called for Ivo and the little one answered.

Not audible to my ears but Iiris' reaction was infallible.

Iiris came back around 17:00 and replaced Ivo. She was looking at the eggs and listening to the chuckle sound coming out.

We are all waiting for the appearance of the baby.
But the chick says something strange. Hope everything is fine.

Hi All,

How long does it take usually for an egg to hatch? (I mean with the hole in it ) Previous experiences?
I have been following the nest for 4 years by now, but I cannot recall seeing something like what we have now.
