Good day all!

12.00
Magnus has problems landing, carrying a heavy prey, dark grey (or brown, difficult to see in the current light) and long.

Maia takes over, leaves, Magnus stays for the next shift.

After so many days I just HAVE to ask: who is this super annoying small bird, whistling hour after hour with this one-tone voice?? Anyone here who knows? First I thought it was LSE female, but her breathing is not in sync with the "whistling"

Incubation takes about 38-41 days. So if the egg hatches after June 14 it will be the second chick.

Thanks Asteria! And do they start incubation immediately after the 1st egg is laid, or delayed incubation, after the 2nd egg?

I think they incubate the egg at once after it is laid.

Maia knows something we do not, she does not want to leave and swallows the prey while at the nest
