holy moly, that fish should be enough for both of them!
this must be the tail of Raimis. Milda is not this blond either.
Image

it's so big that Miks waits calmly his turn. :whistling:
... or is Miks eating? :puzzled:
aha, i see that they have changed twice. :D

edit: i think Miks took the fish first. Rika was on the left and Miks on the right when Raimis was coming.
Image

14:50 Rika took the fish away from him. Rika is on the left.

ame wrote: July 3rd, 2019, 1:51 pm 7:19 Miks came down to the nest and made WE & CE.
then also Rika started WE & CE. for some reason Miks picked Rika in the face and again her breast (or the other way round).
in other words: Miks started to make trouble with Rika. Rika answered and they started a real fight.
Rika won and Miks assumed the submissive posture, i.e. went to the far left corner, turned his back to Rika and put his head as down as possible. just like when they were small and Rika used to hit him.
then Rika pooped. Miks went to the left branch.
To me it looked like this: Mika made WE on the branch. Rika on the nest. Then Mika descended and started CE with a stick. Rika was occupied with hay in the left corner, then she came to stand next to Mika, head to head, again digging hay, with her beak as well as with her foot. Mika then wanted to grasp the end of his stick, when she suddenly pecked him (though she had not been interested in the stick, perhaps they were just a bit too close), he objected by shouting and wing flapping. Rika, too, flapped and took a threatening stance, Mika put his head down to the stick again, things seemed to calm down; but perhaps Mika's adrenalin was roused and he decided to push his luck and kicked Rika in the face. Well, it turned out to be a bad idea. Or perhaps not - they have to train such things, too, don't they, and nobody got hurt after all.

Tomorrow, 4th of July, a nice date: Durbertina-Angelina made her first flight and came back on the 5th.

It was Rikas bone  here she pulled the bark off

7:20 both are doing WE. Miks on the left higher branch
7:21 Miks jumps down into the nest and grabbed Rika's "bone"

Rika attacked Miks. In the end Miks is standing on the left with head down
Thanks for the history "toys"!
I made long video of all history.

You often so wrote, but, at least in half of cases the first fish took Mika, but Rika within a minute took away fish from Mika.

Rika has to do it, she is the older one. She has a reputation to lose

i also made more pictures. i'm inclined to agree with Liz: this whale was brought by Milda after all.
the tips of Raimis' tail feathers are more worn than Milda's. Milda's tips are neat and round.
edit: i happened to find a picture which shows nicely what the tail of Raimis looks like:
viewtopic.php?p=671437#p671437

this picture below does not show the tips well. Liz got better pictures when Milda was leaving. i got similar, too.
here one can see more white and less black stripes. :whistling:
Image

"can you guess who i am?"
:whistling:

i've changed the word "Male" to "Female" title of my video.

btw: Milda is bigger than Raimis and she can catch and carry bigger fish than Raimis, but this doesn't prove anything definite.

hmh, i should have written "Rika ate first" instead of "Rika took first."
that was the idea.
