i think this is the best trained pair of eaglets that i have seen so far. 8-)

he is eating the fresh cones on the branch. :mrgreen:

I was congratulating Milda and Raimis in my mind for bringing up two such convincing samples of their species. They have done a great job, as well as good genes it seems.

I was wondering what he was eating - thank you for the info.

Mika is sitting in a column. And will fly probably like Riks, unexpectedly. Just take a step and spread your wings)

Fortunately - I think this wind while ideal for the heavier Rika, would pose no small risk for Mika. Even the seasoned flyer Raimis was struggling in it the other day. It's not worth gambling with one's life just to fledge on the same day as the bigger sister. Yet he was probing seriously into the possibility with all his looking down into the depth and beyond and jumping to the far end of the outer branch.
