Maia brought a leafy branch with her and fed Eaglet critters it could not manage completely.

Maia is calling, Eaglet answers, cute! She brings a grey mouse-like critter. Eaglet swallowed it.

21:09 - Magnus arrived, didn`t see what he brought. Maia is feeding the eaglet.
21:17 - Feeding seems to be over, all I could see was a glimpse of something dark, and something pink(ish).

A lot alone during the day, but all the attention during the night. Maia is preening/cuddling Eaglet, sweet.

Good morning :hi:

10:37 - The eaglet was chirping, and Maia took a mouse that he had between his/her claws, and started to feed him/her.
(It could have been a feeding before she grabbed the mouse also, because it looked, and sounden, like it, but it was impossible to see, since they were hissen behind the «curtain»)

10:46 - Time for house work. The eaglet is standing with his back to the cam, so it`s possible to look at the developing of his plumage, at least :2thumbsup:
Image

10:49 - Maia left, and the eaglet settled down.
Image

10:51 - It sounded like a LSE alarm call. Then the eaglet is calling.
10:53 - Maia is back in the nest. The eaglet is calling loud.
10:55 - Maia took off again.

Magnus brings rather large, bloody prey and leaves at the other side of the nest.

Image
Eaglet can eat it by itself, bloody, so opened.

Eaglet is very busy with the large, dark prey. Looks like a Rat, it has a very long tail.

Eaglet is pulling Rat from "left to right and back again", and showed its back feathers now very clearly.

Eaglet knows s/he has to place a foot on the prey to hold it down while tearing off pieces.
Image

It really is a large one. (Rat)

Part of the body of the Rat at the left side of the dark smudge, long tail at the right side of the dark smudge.

Nice wing stretch, even though it was because of loosing balance. Maia has been on the nest the biggest part of the afternoon.

Saw the delivery at 10.26 too, was nice enough to zoom.
Taking over from Magnus with bottom side first.
Image

With a quick movement of the head, now the head of the rodent is in Eaglet's beak.
Image

Then throwing head backward while swallow, swallow, swallow.

Image
Image

At 10.58 probably the same procedure was followed, again Magnus brings our Eaglet a prey.
