"Hmm... I see. It's still there."
"Is this better?"
"No, I can't remove the thing from your back. We'll get used to it."

Must be very well fixed to the plumage. Neither Papa nor sib can make it loose!

It's not fixed to the plumage. Imagine a human backpack: there are two bands from the transmitter that run around the shoulders, mostly crosswise above the front and back underneath the wings to the backpack.

WOW!! look at what I just found !!
I wanted to look for a picture to show Summi about attaching any transmitter and I was very lucky.
This article is recent, last March
I was very happy to learn about the long life of this traveller

That transmitter there looks exactly like the one 716A is wearing :) ! That is an impressive robustness if it really is the same type.

They should make an agreement about the time of each ones flight exercises.

We haven't seen them branching yet. Not that we shall see much when they do but if one disappears to the right s/he is branching.

In the evenings they are especially naughty
Flight training is actively alternated with fencing on the beaks, throwing the puck into the game and other sports

Abigyl, thank you for the finding. This red transmitter seems familiar.
Anne, thank you for these admirable WE pics.

"I got you!"
"Let's see who is the strongest!"
"Ready to fence?"

«I bring you a toy.»
«I took it.»
«You are with us, yes?»
I can’t do anything with myself, I like it when they are “looking at us”.
