Thank you for the Karula news of the days 16,17,18,
and also for today's upcoming updates and stories !!!
Bird Map
Birds in Birdmap, why are their information not supplemented?
For example, there reads : Juvenile Black Stork Maru started its first migration in 4th of August 2018 at noon. His home nest is situated in Karula National Park, Estonia. This nest was possible to observe through webcam. Tracking of this bird is donated by observers of the nest. (To be continued). So, BirdMap doesn't say anything about the fact that Maru has passed away.
And then the day's zing : https://www.gettyimages.fi/detail/news- ... /460265163
Have a nice day, everyone!

Treia.
Birdmap is updated by Urmas. At this time of year he has to do as much field work as possible. Winter time is better for office work.
I am waiting for measurements taken at the Karula nest so that I can enter the ringing information on page 1 of that topic. I know that Urmas is away from Estonia for a time, now.

You are right, Treia!
Great that you found this 1-year-old picture.
Our wonderful Karula is exactly 14 months old, today.
I love this little guy.

Jo, are you not at home? I assume you are very busy.
I believe that sova is waiting for us, so I'll make today's tracker map. (Until the afternoon)

Anne, soa, yes, I was busy and so did not pay attention. Anne, thanks for doing the map.
I think we should make another duty rota for tracker maps. You know, one of those "who does what, and when" lists!
