Solo,
yeah, i saw it just when birdmap went online again.
So, the females have started their migration journeys. Some of them we already could have seen on her way taking an easy meal from others' nests, fish which was catched and meant for the osprets (one stranger osprey female on each of the Estonian Osprey nests).
Thanks, Solo, for starting the autumn migration map.
I will not take an active part here any more. Last time when i did in spring migration, no one except you, has found any word for me, so i must think, my contribution was not appreciated. But that doesn't matter, i have enough other things to do
Looking forward following the ospreys' and storks/storklet's paths on birdmap and your posts here in forum

Solo, thank you so much for beginning the 2019 autumn migration.
Elena hasn't decided yet to go south or back north.
balistar, please continue here. I know a number of people who haven't registered but are silent readers. So they don't thank you in words but by reading. Your contribution and all other's contribution is always welcome.

Osprey Autumn Migration 2019
Currently ospreys Kalle and Markus (males, from Estonia) and Vova and Elena (male, female; from Belarus) are listed in the birdmap
http://birdmap.5dvision.ee/EN/
Kalle, Markus and Vova, all males, have not yet started migration. One can assume, that they still feed their offspring.
Females, like Elena, leave the nest earlier than the males, to start their way South.
Elena has already started to South, but it looks like something made her change her mind and she flew back North, direction her home country Belarus.
We will have to wait and see, when she will decide to return to direction South.

Osprey Autumn Migration 2019
What´s up, Elena?
With yesterday´s data she seems to be ready for the second start direction South, after she had made a nice rhomb shaped trip to North.
Really looks like she forgot something important at home
Must be something other important than passport or money
I am curious whether she will chose the same route for her second attempt or make some difference.

Osprey Autumn Migration 2019
It looks like Elena is now sure that she wants to migrate, with data from yesterday (15. August) she was back on her way South and she is currently on a route right in the middle of her first path South and her way back North
She made the same joke (South, back North, then again South) already last year at autumn migration. Her personal style to start migration, I guess
Vova has also started his migration, so he is out of his fatherly duties now.
Both, Elena and Vova, were breeding successful this year, each of them had one chick
No data of Estonian males Kalle and Markus so far.

With today´s data Vova is in good progress, he is in Ukraine already
Elena decided to make a pit stop at some ponds near Klyntsi and not far from Zbytyn´ka river in Ukraine. Elena´s data are from yesterday, 16. August. Where will she have been today? Still in Ukraine or already made some pace further South?
