I sure hope he won’t “cut the mic” like last season’s siblings.

i had a look at last year's records and was struck by the fact that the sound was missing.
i had forgotten how awful that was...
i really hope that the eaglet will not cut the cable this year.

8:02 a greater spotted woodpecker flew upstairs and talked there for a while.

8:18 a spotted flycatcher was at work at the nest.
i think i heard an eaglet calling very-very far.
edit: they were real calls.

9:09 a spotted flycatcher to the 2nd highest left branch.
two nuthatches, not friends.
a blue tit. more nuthatches.
9:09 - 9:19 many little birds visited.

the first call was so far that i can't say who it was.
the second call sounded like Rika.
