White tailed Eagles

With data from yesterday, 25.08., we can see that Hanna mainly prefers to stay at the shores of Haapsalu Bay.
She is not making that many kilometers, she also seems to like to be on two little islands in Haapsalu Bay.

White taile Eagles

With data from yesterday, 25.08., we can see that Kelli feels more home near the backswamps of Pärnu, instead of staying close to the waters of Pärnu Bay.

Osprey Autumn Migration 2019

Data from 24.08.

Our Estonian osprey Kalle - he is such a reliable guy :D
He arrived for his usual pitstop at Karzhyns'ka Gulf in Ukraine. As we know him, he will stay there for some days.

Osprey Autumn Migration 2019

Ouh look - now also Estonian male osprey Markus started his migration South
Data show him still in Estonia, but his direction looks as if he will fly over Russian ground the next day

He flew along Lake Peipus and also along Lake Pihkva
He also flew over Värska, a small town in Estonia in the area of Seto people (Setomaa), there is a well for mineral water

The female of Osprey Vija lives near Vijciems at northern Latvia. In 2019 she has three chicks, in nest. Vija was caught and tagged with GSM-GPS-transmitter Ornitela on July, 12. Osprey female started her migration flight on 26thof august
