Bon voyage, little KARULA !

Edit: Some info on Eber Gölü
The lake (nearly) dried up completely.

Lake Eber is completely dry
"Lake Eber, which is located in the Afyonkarahisar province, has completely dried up, due to cutting off the water resources that feed it. Only the broken boats are left. The farmers who make their living from the lake do not know what to do. Endemic species and migratory birds are in a difficult situation, because this nesting area was known as Turkey's 11th largest source of fresh water."

I would really like to see him turn to the south-east now, and not cross the Carpathian Mountains (like Päike did).

Hello Anne,
I was just about to write the data from the new birdmap updates. Now you have them already in the summary.
Many thanks! Also for all the updates, trackermaps and pictures from Lake Eber.
It's a big shame that the government has ruined the lake.
Thank you, Sova and Solo, for all informations and pictures!

Me too, Anne. But it already looks like Oru wants to fly over the mountains. He has already turned a little to southwest. Fingers are crossed strongly. :2thumbsup:

Orus last position in front of the Carpathian Mountains.

Exactly, Michi.
It is because of the high similarity of both routes (in this area) that I worried.
Päike was at (almost) exactly the same location when she decided to fly over the Carpathians in 2018.
If Oru does the same thing, it will not necessarily end badly, but I'd rather see him flying to the southeast.
We will soon know. I cross my fingers too.

I made a 'merged map' of both routes
