It agrees! Lucky the sun won't blind its eyes.

She flew on the left and sat on the spruce on the right for a few seconds.

To me this one looked shorter and rounder.
...
there are four types of squirrels. the one which was seen was a summer-squirrel. they are red. the second type is the winter-squirrel. they are grey.

the third and fourth types, the spring- and autumn-squirrels are red&grey-chequered. :whistling:

... just kidding. they are all the same species Eurasian red squirrel Sciurus vulgaris.

thank you for the reports and videos! :2thumbsup:

it may be Miks. :puzzled:
the tail is spread wide open so it looks rather blond perhaps because of that. Rika's tail would look almost white in that position.
did the eaglet say anything? if it was quiet then it probably was Rika (although Miks can fly siletnly, too. but it is rarer).

btw: also Verotaja thinks that it was Rika who was here yesterday. how's the poll now?

That is not so good for me. I would have to change my title in the video.

done! OMG the youtuber will think I'm totally crazy. I changed the name the third time :rotf:
I should point out in the description that it is a democratic decision and that the majorities are constantly changing.

Where 's the wire going? :puzzled:

Ame, judging by the fog, the spruce on the right is closer than the oaks.

for a few seconds i wondered is it normal that they still are here... and thought that we didn't hear them here last year at this time. ... then i remembered why we didn't hear them: they had killed the microphone! :rotf:
I thought the eaglets had been here too long this year, too. I forgot about the microphone, too.
Now it is clear that during this period, 90% of the information we get through the microphone, not through the camera.
We don't know when the eaglets left the area last year as there was no sound. We might not see them for a month, but we could hear them, maybe.
Now we'll find out if someone doesn't interrupt again.
