9:15 Raimis brings a fresh cut branch . He flew on the left in an arc to the nest. It is a very huge twig. As Abigyl always writes- a "half tree"
I have marked the twigs of the branch with a yellow circle.

i think it was a goldcrest again but without the crest? no, it had the crest.
the smallest bird of Europe flew away when the largest arrived.
there were some distant voices of ravens. was that enough to make him call?

10:28 - :29 some slightly odd calls which Tatjana asked about in the YT chat.
first and last calls belong to a woodpecker i think (D. major?). then a buzzard (Buteo buteo)? or a jay? the calls seemed to come from the sky so i think it could be a buzzard.

Raimis was either far or was calling against the wind or even both. his voice was difficult to hear.
16:05 Raimis brought a stick.
you are welcome.
- although i think i made more new questions instead of giving answers.
ilona, nice to see you!

thank you Sonchik!
the animal walked past the nest and then to the back.
the animal looked so big that it was probably a bigger deer like a white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus; i'm not sure if they are common in Latvia, but in Finland they are) or a red deer (Cervus elaphus) or even an elk (Alces alces).
(i know that your translator gives deer, deer, deer and deer )
roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) are the smallest of the deer family, the size of a sheep (but with a bit taller legs).
edit:
i tried to find a picture of these animals in the same scale but all i could find was a picture with their footprints. (that's what one usually sees of these animals, and their droppings ).
in this picture from left to right footprints of elk, human male, reindeer&Finnish forest reindeer, white-tailed deer, fallow deer, roe deer. between the two last there's a matchbox.
in the upper row there are prints of front feet, and the lower row the prints of hind feet.

i got such a great pair of pictures of Milda and Raimis this morning standing on almost exactly the same spot and in almost the same posture that i have to post it now.
they are each other's mirror images but not quite. Milda is stretching higher, she is really not this much taller.

good night!
i'll be away tomorrow all day starting from early morning. i hope that my recording will go on but it will certainly break at some point. 6 hours is the absolute top limit. i don't know why but that's the way it always goes. have fun!

7:08 the stream stutters
7:16 I hear the tawny owl. But the stream stutters still.
7:19 a owl? it sounds strange - the stream is running normally.
7:23 There are little interruptions again. Not so good. I lose the sound when recording.
7:31 the stream is running well The weather looks very good. I think we will see our eagles soon
