Hello Ilona and welcome! :gathering:
Ilona wrote: March 27th, 2020, 11:20 am .... I wonder if there are three eggs read earlier that one was broken?

do you mean that you read that one egg here is now broken? :puzzled:
they all were ok the last time i saw them. one of them (the first) is different colour than the other two. Primo (the first) is beige and Secondo (2nd) and Terzo (3rd) are white. (these are not official names of course, i have just made them up for my own amusement)

the eagles changed incubation turns at 10:44. unfortunately Raimis didn't show all eggs at the same time.
10:44 Raimis brought hay. Milda flew out and Raimis covered the eggs after rolling them.

11:02 Raimis rolled the eggs, again in secrecy.
11:12 another roll but still no good view on the eggs.

Primo is perhaps on the left. the colours are not very different any more. :puzzled:

12:34 egg roll. this time Raimis gave a good view on the eggs. this time the colour difference is more clear. Primo is on the left. the other two are blueish-white.
- the light is also different. Primo on the left is in full sunlight. part of the middle egg is in sunlight and that colour is different than on the leftmost egg. the other half of the middle egg is in shadow as is the right-most egg. their colours are the same.

btw: i think i found the film which gave me the inspiration for naming the eggs. i remembered two things wrong. the film is not Italian, but American. there are two brothers, Primo and Secondo, but no third brother.

that's how good my memory is. :slap: :rotf:

13:06:about 15 a big bird flew in the upper left corner. Raimis only looked at the bird fly. was it Milda?
well, this could be almost any bird. :puzzled:
i think it was not an eagle but a smaller bird flying closer. it flew by too fast.

Thank you!
Maybe I misunderstood and I am also see three eggs but this is what I read...Milda became much calmer, after she demolished a third egg. Looking at the crows in silence!
So we don't have to wait for the fourth egg?

On the one hand, it was a joke. On the other hand, I stated that Milda had calmed down, so the egg-laying process was over.

maybe you mix eagles and storks? :puzzled:
... but storks don't eliminate "extra" eggs, they do it with storklets.

no, no fourth egg! not any more, it's too late.

this look like Milda now. :whistling:
14:43 they changed turns.
much earlier, at 14:39 Raimis started looking in the sky. he must have seen Milda there but i could not see anything.
14:41 he raised his head feathers... then he got up and flew out. a few seconds later Milda landed on the nest. 7 seconds laters.
Image

Milda rolled the eggs and lay down on them.

i also made a longer version of this change, starting from when Raimis first saw something interesting in the sky.

now i am really puzzled. there seems to be nothing about eggs here, only about fish. :puzzled: :faint:

15:30 Milda preened.... then she rolled the eggs.

yes, i noticed that addresses where the links were leading "went crossed".
the other (viewtopic.php?p=715210#p715210 ) leads to a post where you promise to remind me of ringed eagles ( ).
the lower post on that page is about the fishing places (places with fish).
i don't know which you meant that i didn't notice. :puzzled:

15:12 a bird called loud. what bird? :help:
