The official announcement
Honeybees enter the stage in Forest camera. Peep has settled a bucketful of them in the observation hive. How to observe them and how this experiment with watching insects will succeed isn’t easy to answer until it has been tried. We ask our viewers please not to be too severely critical during the first few weeks.
Our thanks to all devoted watchers of the wild boar and their young, and to their feeders and minders. Towards autumn there may be some innovations in store.
Meanwhile, the honeybee camera offers us an opportunity to become better acquainted with the insect world.

Interesting viewing at the moment. People talking, reflections of people moving around. Someone wearing white - tall slim male, I think. A woman's voice.
Can someone translate, please?
Oh, maybe they have gone away now.

Hallo "Wild Boars"!
Let me say Good Bye. I thank you all for this long time I was allowed to watch you and beeing able to observe your piglets and their growing up until yesterday. Have a good time and be careful, that you not run across the hunters.
See you next winter - I hope.
Thank you people who allowed us to watch this side during wintertime until now.
All the best wishes, also for the new project with the bees

Yes thank you for a really wonderful cam scene, through the snow, wind and stormy weather..we have been able watch and see boars, then the little piglets.
Many deer and most wonderous of all, the farmer sitting in the midst of the feeding boars..
Probably birds too but I am not an early riser so I missed those.
Now we have the opportunity to see and hear:The birds and the bees.. . Garanteed suitable for all ages.!

I also want to say THANK YOU!!! To the looduskalender team, to the people of woodcam 2 and all the members of the forum, for the pictures and films. I like boars and I miss them, I like to see them, through the wintertime, when they are very hungry and now, in springtime, then they comes with dusk and dawn. I like their childs, the sweet, crazy piglets and I have had the hope, to see them growing up throug spring and summertime. I also like the woodarena of cam 2, the panorama, that allowd to see the boars in aktion, when they arrived to the border of the wood, cheeking up situation, an then they enter the stage. I like to see the deers in wintertime and their little games with the boars. I like to see Mister fox an all the other animals and also to see and hear the birds. I miss this cam very much, it was nice.
I like boars.

Greeneyes, your post is very welcome to us all. The pigs, foxes, deer, and others will return next season - later this year.
Wild boar wander off to other areas for the summer but Looduskalender promised "other developments" in the autumn. Wonder what that means!?

I need to remember to look in daylight.
I can hear the pigs -- but of course I cannot see the bees.
