Yes, of course, it could be her brooding patch, the place where feathers disappear during nesting so the heat will transfer better to the chicks. I don't recall noticing that in previous years, but I've seen it with other birds.

I listened to the video and it sounds to me like Karl II snoring. Especially the piece after each breath - a little squeak that sounds like a part of a black stork's singing.

Thank you, all, for the pictures and great news that Kaia arrived at last.
Karl II was so much rejoicing at her arrival that he greeted her with flowers.
He is really amazing!

Hello Anne7 and Kiser
Karl II threw moss with excitement. I also posted the picture.
Nice! I'm really happy for Karl II and the eggs.
@Kiser
He threw the bouquet up really elegantly.

Our guy is very courteous and gallant! We love him and take the same photo.
I also have a photo that I did not post, because the eye is closed by grass

good educational photo!
This photo perfectly shows that Kaya hides the eggs between the two leg muscles. She puts her muscles on the edge of the recess in the nest and puts all her weight on them. If it rains and the nest is wet, this is the dirtiest place. In addition, today, when she arrived at 13.11.53, you could see a darker color of the muscles on the paw, although she arrived rested and clean. All this should finally reassure everyone that sometimes a dark spot appears on the right side of her chest.

@Kiser Our Karl II is a gentleman.
@Tatiana60 Thank you for describing it in detail. Tha'ts what I meant.
Sometimes my English is not enough.
15:44 Kaia is tense. She sees something. But I can't see anything.
