For me it is also interesting to see how the parents react with a poop and why :puzzled:

Okay, I know it is eaten in the first days ... but sometimes when both parents are there they argue about it, it is "shared" and nobody eats it but everyone carries his part out of the box :puzzled:

In the blue tit nestbox only one chick managed to survive and fledge, four other ones died for some unknown reason. :cry:

they use insecticides to provide a kind of moth in the buxus, in the gardens here.
we took off the buxes, that is better.......

Good morning!

Sometimes it takes a bit time to see all 7 chicks. Mostly at first only 5 or 6 ... there is at least one sleepyhead among the chicks :mrgreen:
